Kids Night Out

Kids Night Out is a monthly drop-off event designed to give kids a fun evening of creativity, activities, and time with friends while parents enjoy a little time to themselves.

Each month features a different theme with hands-on projects, games, and activities. Depending on the theme, kids may paint, make slime, create seasonal crafts, play games, or try something completely new.

Pizza and a drink are included, and every child will take home the projects they create.

Kids Night Out is held at Cappy & Lucas in Irwin, PA and is designed for elementary-aged children who are comfortable attending a drop-off event independently.

Events are held on select Friday evenings and space is limited for each session.

Parents can grab dinner, run errands, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a couple of quiet hours while the kids have a night out of their own.

Kids Night Out: Fall Edition

They get a night out. You do too!

Join The Yellow Daisy for our first Kids Night Out on Friday, September 25 from 6:00–8:00 PM at Cappy & Lucas.

For our Fall Edition, kids will be guided step-by-step as they paint an adorable fall raccoon canvas, then create their own batch of fall slime with fun seasonal add-ins.

Pizza and a drink are included, along with games and activities throughout the evening.

Drop-Off Event

Kids Night Out is primarily designed for elementary-aged children. Younger siblings are welcome as long as they are fully potty trained, able to use the restroom independently, and comfortable participating without a parent or guardian present.

Important Information for Parents

Kids Night Out is a drop-off event. Children must be comfortable participating independently.

All children must be fully potty trained and able to use the restroom on their own. We are unable to assist with toileting or diaper or pull-up changes.

Pre-registration is required. A parent or guardian must provide emergency contact information, authorized pickup information, and a working phone number and remain reachable during the event.

Children must be checked in and out by an authorized adult and will only be released to an approved pickup person.

Pizza and a drink are included. Children are also welcome to bring a labeled water bottle and their own snack. All outside snacks must be nut-free.

Please disclose all food allergies and dietary restrictions during registration. While reasonable precautions will be taken, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

All children must be picked up by 8:15 PM. A $15 per child late fee will be charged for each 15-minute period after 8:15 PM.

Children are expected to follow basic directions and participate safely and respectfully in the group. If a child becomes ill, is unable to participate safely, or requires more individual assistance than can be provided in a group setting, a parent or guardian may be contacted for early pickup.

Cancellation Policy

Registration fees are non-refundable because supplies, food, and staffing are prepared based on enrollment.

If you are unable to attend, your registration may be transferred to another child with advance notice.

Kids Night Out requires a minimum of 5 registered children. If minimum enrollment is not met, the event may be canceled. Families will be notified approximately 48 hours before the event and may choose a full refund or transfer their registration to a future Kids Night Out.

Space Is Limited

Kids Night Out is intentionally kept small so each child has plenty of time, help, and space to create.
